Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Main Slate Week 17

Week 17 is always a very difficult week for DFS, although I do not think it is unplayable.  I have actually had quite a bit of success over the years in week 17 and I think the reason is that it takes a ton of bobbing a weaving based upon the latest news. This year especially with a different play-off format even more teams have little to play for and we need to avoid players on those teams. Be sure you are aware of all the playoff implications for each team this week before you decide to roster any players.  All the players in my core will be on teams with something to play for -or- are on teams that have been out of contention for a while, so this week will be no different and they should get their normal workloads.  I will try and continue to update this column as we get closer to Sunday kick-off as news continues to break all over the place, but I wanted to get this in your hands now, so you can start formulating your strategy and player core.
