Jeff’s Hardcore Core- Week 17 Main Slate

Week 17 of the NFL season is always one of my favorite weeks of the year for DFS, because not only do we have an edge over our competition because of the combination of our research on player selection and game theory/strategy, but we also have the factor of knowing what teams have motivation to compete and win and those that cannot improve their position and will not care.

You might think that everybody who plays DFS knows this information, but every year you will see competing lineups with guys from teams that have no motivation and sometimes those players don’t play much if at all. Basically we probably have an extra minimum of 5% of dead lineups in GPPs this week, which does not sound like much, but can be quite significant. Below I will layout exactly what teams will not be motivated to win and thus what players we should avoid in our lineups.
