JohnnyV NFL Pick – Week 9

Welcome to week 9! It was a nail biter for us on Monday night, but in the end we cashed with the Dolphins +14.5 or 14. It was a trap game for the Steelers and early on they did their best to fall in as the Dophins raced out to an early 14-0 lead. Fortunately for the Steelers, for as much ‘Good Fitz’ as they saw in the first quarter, they got just as much ‘Bad Fitz’ the rest of the way. When you combine a few ugly turnovers with some inexplicably bad defensive play calling, you can see why the Dolphins are winless this season. Miami did their best to cough up the game spread wise but ultimately held on held on in the waning moments of the game to keep the game close enough for us to cash another ticket. This moves my record for the season to 5-2 (no pick for Week 2) and my overall record since the beginning of 2017 to 33-10.
