A couple injuries that could have an impact on this Showdown Slate:
- Rob Gronkowski is DOUBTFUL. This opens up playing time and likely targets for Cameron Brate and OJ Howard.
- Gio Bernard has already been ruled OUT. This means Leonard Fournette gets all 3rd down duty and probably a couple more targets.
- James White was put on IR. It is unclear as to who will step into the main pass catching duties for White between Bolden, Taylor, and Stevenson.
Favorites:
Tom Brady, $12,800
- There might be some motivation for Brady to play well in this game.
- He has been nothing short of spectacular thus far this season posting 30+ DK points in each game.
- 10 TDs and 1,087 yards already is pretty sick.
- Patriots defense is nowhere near where it was and their corners are struggling.
Chris Godwin, $11,200
- Leads Bucs in targets (28) and redzone targets (6) of which he has caught five and scored twice.
- Patriots weakest corner is slot corner Jonathan Jones and Godwin runs 70% of his routes out of the slot.
Jakobi Meyers, $8,400
- The Pats are going to have a hell of a time running the ball, so if they are going to move the ball at all it will have to be through the air.
- Meyers leads Pats in targets (29)
- He will see the Bucs worst corner Russ Cockrell in the slot.
Value:
Antonio Brown, $7,000
- Missed week 3, but has come off the covid list.
- 10 targets in the first two weeks and went over 100 yards with a TD in week 1.
- Not as good of a match-up as Godwin at corner, but a plus match-up nonetheless vs JC Jackson.
Sleepers:
Cameron Brate, $4,200
- Howard is the more athletic tight end, but Brate seems to consistently be in front of him.
- When Gronk left the game last week Brate was the one to rack up volume (4 catches on 5 targets for 35 yards).
Branden Bolden, $600
- Who ever knows what Belichick is going to do with runningbacks, but Bolden was the guy who took the majority of action when White went down last week.
- All I know is Belichick likes experience and Bolden has that over the other two guys.
- Good pass catching back and had a few last week (3 for 23 on 4 targets).
