The Daily Spin – Divisional Round Playoffs

The Wildcard round was not quite as exciting as we might have hoped. The Raiders and Bengals had an exciting game and the Cowboys and 49ers kept me on edge, but neither game was a real work of art. The Cowboys did everything possible to lose the game on Sunday with some of the dumbest penalties imaginable. Jimmy G did everything in his power to give the game back to the Cowboys late missing wide open receivers and then throwing one of the worst interceptions you will ever see in a key situation. It ended with one of the most bizarre play calls I have ever witnessed. Mike McCarthy and Kellen Moore should be unemployed after that effort and yet Moore is interviewing for head coaching jobs this week and Jerry Jones gave McCarthy a vote of confidence…or at least one more season.
