The Daily Spin – NFL Cash Game Edition – Week 16

Welcome to another crazy week of NFL DFS during the Omicron phase of COVID. In such a dynamic environment, we really need to make an effort to stay on top of the news as it drops nearly every waking hour of the day with players shuffling on and off the COVID list. Also, today is Christmas Eve. Typically, I work late into the night on Fridays in order to deliver 4000-5000 words of goodness, but this week will be a little more abbreviated as I will be with family this evening and will likely only get an hour or two later on to jump back on to check for injury/COVID updates and add a player or two.

My plan for the week is to give you an outline to work off of today. Tomorrow after presents and morning time with family, I will jump back on to do a little more research, update the player pool again and make any changes to with players already mentioned. Sunday morning I will be up bright and early to do the final lock down for the week once the dust settles and we get a clear picture of exactly who will be on the field and who will be on the sidelines. It is an interesting week for cash games as there are a lot of starters out this week which means there are plenty of great backups to utilize. The only issue is that I think many teams are going to come together in a very similar manner. The starting RBs are going to be very predictable. Dropping down at RB will allow you to pay up at WR and with a certain starting QB out for the week, I think the punt defense is really easy this week as well. The cash lineup builds itself.
