The new concussion rule was bound to hit me in the face sooner or later. I wish it would have been later. About once a season, I open the DK app for the first time after kickoff and see the little red O signifying the destruction of my team. The fact that it was Amon-Ra St Brown was the worst possible outcome. Had it been Kenneth Walker or Josh Jacobs, I maybe could have survived it. Unfortunately, even with ASB being a great play last week, he was not that heavily owned in cash games, thus compounding my problem.

I liked my build overall. I started with Jacobs and Walker at RB, locked in the Jets defense and then worked on building the rest of my team. Sadly, I could not get anything other than average to mediocre performances out of most of my key players. Despite having three solid WRs in CeeDee Lamb, Tee Higgins and Chris Godwin, none were able to breach the 100 yard mark or find the end zone. Geno Smith has gone back to being more of a game manager and Foster Moreau put up about the same stats that Darren Waller has for most of the season. It was a frustrating week, but without the injury, I think things still would have worked out fine. Rather than dwelling on it, let’s move on to Week 8 and get back to making some money!
